damnit... you see here is the problem with video game violence. It isn't that video games are getting more like real life in every aspect, it is that real life is getting more like video games.
You sit behind a computer and your life is basically answering emails for an hour and surfing blogs. This is the modern day MUD, with a real life twist on the setting.
War is turning into pushing buttons and neglect to see the consequences of the actions. So when it comes down to does video game violence incite real life violence, the real question is is real life violence turning into video game violence.
