- If it can be spoken, then it is not the true snaars. Snaars should not be mistaken for his mortal alter-ego, snaars. This earthly manifestation of snaars - or snaarsissistic prophet, if you will - is a rather unambitious thirtysomething recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a minor in religious studies. Mostly working, unfortunately. Sometimes I'll take my wife and two kids to a local park. This time of year it gets unbearably hot here in southwest Louisiana.
We grow a lot of rice, sugarcane, and crawfish here. I enjoyed reading your post about the Inari-shrine. As far as I know, we do not have anything so colorful as the rice-planting ceremonies there in Japan. We have lots of festivals, but they seem to all revolve around eating way too much and drinking way, way, way too much. I generally avoid them.
